Karen Marchant has served as the Director of Development for MHM since 2009, bringing 10 years of nonprofit fundraising and senior leadership experience to Mile High Ministries. Karen oversees all aspects the organizations’s fundraising efforts as well as the capital campaign. Karen has been a contributing writer to several books, magazines and other publications. Additionally, she has been a guest on /several national radio broadcasts and is a frequent speaker at churches, women’s retreats and conferences. Karen served as the Director of Ministry Advancement for MOPS International, Inc and the Director of Development for Colorado Christian University. She served as the Tennessee House Republican Press Secretary under Governor Lamar Alexander’s administration, and graduated from from David Lipscomb University with a degree in Communications and Political Science. 

Karen has been married to Jeff Marchant for 34 years and has three amazing, creative adult children—Andrea, Mike and John. What Karen most enjoys about working at Mile High Ministries is seeing what happens when diverse groups of people work together toward a common goal—transformation among the poor—and watching the transformation that takes place in everyone.
