Sulma Mendoza is currently the 1st Judicial Legal Advocate and has been with the JAMLAC since its opening in 2006. Her love of learning and taking on new challenges makes her a valuable member of the office.

Born in Mexico, Sulma is fluent in Spanish. Sulma moved to the US at the age of one, and considers herself a Colorado native.  She received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is now embarking on the exciting journey of attending law school at University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and continues to work part-time at JAMLAC.
