The Community Garden at Joshua Station was successfully planted once again. A group from Denver Community Church came up with the idea of having a community garden for Joshua Station residents a few years ago. Each Spring, volunteers from DCC partnered with Joshua Station families by providing 4 or 5 plants of their choice and helping plant them.
This year we had volunteers from not only DCC but also from the National Charity League, a Girl Scout Troop, USC Alumni, and Kaiser help with the garden. We were also able to add two new plots to the garden. What a blessing it is for our residents to be able to enjoy gardening and fresh produce!
